If something goes wrong

You’re liable from pickup to sign-in. Damage is invoiced (or deducted from the deposit). Total loss or theft: replacement value, less the deposit.

No broker, no waiver. Cheapest path for both of us is the kit coming back in one piece.

    Boss Rental owns the gear. You have right of use for the hire period.

    Use within spec. Store secure: out of sight in vehicles, locked overnight.

    Loss & damage

    You're liable from pickup to sign-in, capped at replacement value.

    Deposit

    Secures the agreement. Refunded in full within 3 working days of clean drop-off.

  6. 06

    Repair vs replace

    Small damage: invoiced or deducted. Total loss: full replacement value.

  7. 07

    Theft from vehicle

    Locked + police report inside 24 h: split per clause 7. No report: full liability.

  8. 08

    Jurisdiction

    Malaysian law. Disputes in the courts of Kuala Lumpur.

Is the deposit really refundable?

Yes. FPX or DuitNow within 3 working days of clean drop-off.

Why no insurance option?

Deposit + agreement do the same job for hires this size. Your own equipment-hire policy reduces the deposit at our discretion.

What’s the cancellation policy?

48+ hrs out: full refund. Inside 48 h: hire billed at 50%. Same day: full rate. Deposit always refunded.

How do trusted-renter terms work?

Three clean hires: deposit waived on Tier A/B, reduced on C. We’ll let you know when you cross the threshold.

What if I damage something on day one of a five-day hire?

Call us. Swap unit if we have one. Damage settled at drop-off.

Can I substitute a bank guarantee for the deposit?

Yes on Tier B and C, for corporate accounts with SSM on file. Post-dated cheques accepted from houses we know.
